ISLAMISASI ILMU PENGETAHUAN PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR’AN
Abstract
This paper explores the concept of Islamization of knowledge from the perspective of the Qur'an, aiming to
transform Islamic values into various modern disciplines. Islamization seeks to integrate faith, knowledge, and
practice through the paradigm of Tawhid to harmonize religious values with scientific advancement. The study
highlights the perspectives of key figures such as Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and Ismail Raji alFaruqi, and examines practical steps in the Islamization process. This paper also addresses the challenges and
opportunities of integrating knowledge with the Qur'an to meet the needs of Muslims amidst modernity. The
conclusion asserts that the Islamization of knowledge is a response to secularism and the dichotomy of religious
and scientific knowledge promoted by Western civilization.
