TELAAH HISTORIS PAGELARAN WAYANG PERSPEKTIF FENOMENOLOGI DAN ANTROPOLOGI DI DESA NGAMPELREJO

Abstract

In this article, the author analyzes through a historical study of the wayang culture in Ngampelrejo village. In
conducting a study of the culture that exists in Ngampelrejo village, the author looks at it from a phenomenological
perspective and an anthropological perspective study. Because in the reality of life in Ngampelrejo village until now,
wayang culture continues to be preserved by holding performances every August 17. The puppet held in Ngampelrejo
village gives a symbol that the importance of preserving local culture that already exists, because with history or history
we can learn to sort and choose. about what is good for us to choose and what is bad for us to stay. Culture is a study
of the practice of social life, an expressive form in which meaning is created and tested before being used by human
society. And culture can change according to the circumstances of the people who embrace it, sometimes it happens by
chance, planned or because of the assimilation of other cultural influences and also changes in culture can come from
the community itself or from outside the community.
