Abstract

Moral issues are one of the most interesting topics to talk about. As technology advances and the era of
globalization, the existence of morals is even more threatened. In fact, if we refer to one of the hadiths,
that one of the important missions of the treatise is to improve and perfect human morals. Efforts that can
be made to maintain the existence of morals in the realm of human life are through education, namely
moral education. It will be even stronger if we refer to the opinion of one of the scholars of the archipelago
in the field of interpretation, namely Buya HAMKA. Are his thoughts on moral education still relevant
if applied in the era of globalization. So it is interesting to explore moral education in the era of
globalization from the perspective of Buya HAMKA.
