Abstrak

The purpose of research was to improve the quality of learning PKn using NHT model with PowerPoint media for 4th grade elementary students of SDN Plalangan 04 Semarang. The type of the research was classroom action research wich was implemented in 3 cycles with 4 stages an they were plan, action, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques were using test and non-test techniques. The data analysis using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research showed that: (1) teacher‟s skills in cycle I scored 25 (good), in cycle
II increased to 30 (very good) and cycle III increased to 34 (very good); (2) student‟s activity in cycle I gained average score 20.2 (good), in cycle II increased to 25 (good) and in cycle III increased to 29.63 (very good); (3) the classical completeness of student learning outcome in cycle I was 60%, in cycle II was 72.41%, and in cycle III was 86.67%. The conclusion of the research was the NHT model with PowerPoint media could improve the quality of learning PKn for 4th grade elementary students of SDN Plalangan 04 Semarang.
