Abstract

The development of a country will be seen based on the education system that is run. The progress and
success of education is also determined by the quality of the teaching staff. One of the most important
educators is the teacher. Therefore, teachers must always develop themselves independently. In addition,
related to education, of course there is a result obtained after the implementation of the learning process,
namely in the form of learning outcomes. This research is motivated by the unattractiveness of the learning
model and student learning outcomes in this moral aqidah subject using pego (bald Arabic). Learning
morals here is different, not using textbooks like schools in general. One of them is the subject of moral
aqidah which studies the names of angels. In grade 3, the value of the Aqidah Morals subject is very low
because not all students can read/ appreciate Pego readings. The purpose of this study was to describe the
application of the mind mapping method in improving learning outcomes of aqidah morals learning for
grade 3 students at SD KH.M. Noer Surabaya. The results of the study stated that the application of
the mind mapping method during the Covid-19 pandemic improved student learning outcomes in learning
moral aqidah on the material on the names of angels and their duties quite well. This method can help
improve student learning outcomes, train students to read more fluently and be more responsive in
understanding the material on the names of angels and their duties, while the learning outcomes of grade 3
students at SD KH.M.. Noer Surabaya in learning aqidah akhlah with material on the names of angels by using the mind mapping method, the results are quite good, this is indicated by the average score of
90% of the students which are between 75-100 with a fairly good category. This is also supported by the
researcher's analysis by looking at the data documentation and student activity.
