Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of Islamic educational leadership in facing the challenges and opportunities of the digital era. Islamic educational leadership has an important role in integrating Islamic values with modern technology in order to produce a young generation with character, knowledge and noble morals. Through leadership based on the principles of the Koran and Hadith, Islamic education leaders are expected to be able to guide, motivate and inspire teaching staff and students in a dynamic educational environment. This research uses a literature study method with content analysis techniques to evaluate the challenges and opportunities for Islamic educational leadership in the digital era. The research results show that visionary and progressive leadership is able to adapt technological developments to improve the quality of learning and shape students' character so that they are wise and responsible in using technology. Thus, Islamic education not only strengthens religious understanding, but also equips students with the technological skills needed in the modern era. Through the right strategy, Islamic educational leadership is expected to be able to produce a superior generation who is ready to contribute positively to society and the global world.
