IMPLEMENTASI TRAUMA HEALING MELALUI METODE MENDONGENG PADA ANAK-ANAK KORBAN ERUPSI GUNUNG SEMERU

AbstractThe eruption of Mount Semeru caused a special trauma for children. So that children who are victims of the Semeru eruption do not experience ongoing trauma, one of the therapies that can be done is Trauma Healing therapy using the storytelling method. This paper tries to analyze the implementation of Trauma Healing with the storytelling method for children who were victims of the Mount Semeru eruption in Supiturang Village, Pronojiwo Lumajang District. This study uses a qualitative, phenomenological and descriptive approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The author found that the implementation of Trauma Healing through the storytelling method for children who were victims of the Semeru eruption was carried out in several steps, including: 1) preparation before storytelling, 2) opening the storytelling, 3) action storytelling, 4) closing the storytelling. The impact of this implementation is that it can entertain, increase knowledge, and increase children's concentration. However, it needs to be underlined, storytelling is not just entertainment for children, but rather to treat the thoughts of children who have been traumatized by the events they experienced after the eruption of Mount Semeru in Supiturang village
